Terms of Service

1. The Service

Laureax provides an AI-powered environment where retail sales staff rehearse client conversations against a simulated customer and receive automated scoring and coaching. The Service is intended for professional training purposes only.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Access is granted to approved Stores and the Users they invite. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Managers are responsible for the Users they invite and for ensuring those Users are authorized to use the Service. You must be of legal working age in your jurisdiction.

3. Subscriptions and billing

The Service is offered on a paid, per-seat subscription basis. Fees, billing frequency, and seat counts are as agreed between Laureax and your Store. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable, exclusive of taxes, and subscriptions renew until cancelled in accordance with the applicable order or agreement.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share accounts, resell, or provide access to anyone outside your licensed seats.
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or prompts.
• Upload unlawful content, malware, or real customer personal or payment data.
• Use the Service to harass, deceive, or to generate unlawful or infringing content.
• Interfere with the Service’s security, rate limits, or normal operation.

5. Training content and AI output

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate simulated dialogue, transcriptions, and scores. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and is provided for training only. It is not professional, legal, or sales advice, and should not be relied upon as a substitute for your own judgment or your employer’s policies. You are responsible for how you act on it.

6. Independence; no brand affiliation

Laureax is an independent training product. Brand and maison names (such as luxury watch and jewelry houses) are referenced only to describe training scenarios and are the trademarks of their respective owners. Laureax is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or an official channel of any such brand. Training content reflects publicly oriented, educational material and does not represent any brand’s official position, pricing, or confidential information.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding your inputs), is owned by Laureax and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your subscription. You retain rights to the content you submit; you grant us the rights needed to operate and improve the Service and to provide it to your Store.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Laureax will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or to protect the Service or its users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive will survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at Laureax’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be resolved in the competent courts there, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
